Taking on the meme/challenge here.

Fandom Snowflake Challenge #8

Talk about a current fannish project (fic, art, vid, crochet, funko pop village) that you are creating or enjoying. Leave a comment here saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

That’s easy enough, because I’ve already talked about it. In 2016 I set a goal to write a dozen stories that year, one per month, and for motivation I listed out the stories I intended to do (here). One of them turned out not to be possible (#3, “Whatever I do for RemixRedux”, only there was no RemixRedux in 2016). Of the remainder, I did four that year (#1, #2, #6, and #10); more were done in subsequent years (#4, #5, #7, #8), as I worked down the list while continuing to write other fics as they came to me. Now only three are left from that list — #9, #11, #12 — and I really am focused on finishing those in this, my 25th year of fanfic production.

However, right now I’m working on something else, a shorter fic with no planned action, and it’s a bit self-referential in that it’s about a fanfic writer in the Buffyverse (not a writer of Buffyfic, though) who finds himself receiving commentary from some readers he doesn’t personally know, but who aren’t hard for Buffy fans to identify. It’s just a notion I had, and want to work my way through before I get down to serious stuff.

So there you are.

Wow, congrats on 25 years of fic writing!! That's awesome. And good luck with all your writing projects, from both your fic list and your new project!
