I did a short beta for someone else who requested it. Not much, but then it didn’t need very much, and we’re approaching the deadline.
Last of all, I got word that my story “First Do No Harm” took Best Comedy at the Shades of Grey Awards. Other winners are posted there; I’m not personally familiar with any of the other authors or their stories, but it’s there to be seen.

Date: 2008-04-14 02:38 am (UTC)As for Susan’s stepfather, he’s back home again (they put in cardiac stents, which can apparently be done through major blood vessels using a catheter, rather than requiring any kind of direct surgery). He actually apologized to her for the way he’s behaved toward her regarding me. A relief, for now, but neither of us is taking it for granted that it will last.
