I wouldn't have hit it without you, in many ways. The story wouldn't be what it was without it having been done as a collaboration with you. Putting that aside, I still wouldn't have done it without you, because you've shaped so much of my writing, and are the person I talk to to get through writer's block.

As we’ve seen, our sharing of themes and ideas can add to my own work as well. Maybe a little less the last couple of years — we’ve been busy as well as geographically separated — but the future is still open.
