Unintended consequences

She can only eat small amounts at a time, and is restricted on what she CAN eat (though both of those will be less limited as she gets further into the process). Together, those mean there’s no point in her going out to eat; the closest she can manage is if I order something and give her part of it (chicken, or shrimp, or pork, mainly). We’ve done that a few times, but mostly it’s eating at home.
Any time I drive her somewhere, though … well, it’s like anywhere I go is close to some place I’d like to stop for a meal-treat, which makes me aware just how much of that I was doing.
I miss it. But I’m definitely doing better without it.
