Fandom Snowflake Challenge #5
Search in your current space, whether brick-and-mortar or digital. Post a picture (a link to a picture will be fine!) or description of something that is or represents:
1. Something your favorite character would like.
2. Something that makes you laugh.
3. A fandom place you would like to visit
4. A fandom creator (pro or not) you’d like to meet
5. Something you find comforting
6. Something from a favorite TV series or movie from your childhood
7. A piece of clothing you love
8. A book or song with a color in the title
9. Something only someone in your fandom would understand
You don’t have to do them all, do whatever you are comfortable with. Leave a comment here saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
Well, to begin with, I live and travel in a 24-foot motorhome, so everything around me is close and familiar. That pretty much necessitates that I include the digital realm if I want to get outside mundane and generic.

Well, first I’d have to decide who’s my favorite character, which really can change by the moment, certainly by the week. This time, I’ll go with Giles (Buffy the Vampire Slayer). On the kitchen-
Not laugh, but at least smile:

Pretty much nowhere. I enjoy active fandoms, which basically translates to ‘Fun to watch but much too dangerous to be there’.
Sarah Hoyt. Her fiction writings aren’t quite in line with what I like best, but I love her blog writings.
Well, there’s a bottle of vodka in the fridge …
My childhood is far enough back that I didn’t even get into the original Star Trek till it was canceled and in syndication. Eighth Man, however: anime before the larger American public had ever heard the word, and somehow an English-dubbed version was broadcast from a local Texas station in the Sixties. A mix of brilliant action and unbelievable schlock, it did manage to catch my imagination.
I’m pretty fond of some fuzzy-lined houseshoes I wear every day. They have a sturdy enough sole that I can use them outside; as noted in this post, though, I ordered them in black and they arrived in bright purple, so I wind up limiting their outside use.
“Shadow Hand Blues” is currently on my Kindle. Also “the Rose Rent”, one of the Brother Cadfael mysteries. Okay, ‘blues’ and ‘rose’ are both used in a non-color sense, but they are colors.
Basically all my Backstage stories, and pretty much the same for my Independent stories (also Buffy-based).
