Fandom Snowflake Challenge #3

Imagine there’s a fairy godmother (or a fairy at the bottom of your garden), who’s out there just looking for little wishes to grant! Or, more prosaically, that an unnamed challenge (can’t imagine which one!) is going to have a future prompt about creating things and/or granting wishes, and all kinds of people are going to be looking for ideas for things to make. Leave a comment here saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

As I’ve done in the past, I wish there were a fansite devoted to stories about Harmony from Buffy the Vampire Slayer. There have in the past been plenty of sites for other BtVS characters — though, these days, most sites seem to be Buffy/Spike or (to a lesser extent) Buffy/Angel — but somehow Harmony gets no attention. Which is a shame, because she’s always fun to read about.

I wish LiveJournal hadn’t been all but completely deserted by the majority of people I used to follow and who used to keep track of me. Yes, I know it’s been 19 years since I signed onto LJ, and many of the people who remained in fandom have moved to other sites, and many who stayed on LJ are no longer active in fandom, but my page used to be where I could keep up with the activities of people who liked and did Buffy stuff. Except for su_herald, that’s pretty much all gone (and even they now operate primarily out of other sites, with a mirror page on LiveJournal). So my wish: if you’re in fandom, mainly Buffy fandom, and still on LiveJournal, could you give me a nudge so I can use you to replace some of the many who are no longer around?

That’s pretty much it. Most of the fannish goals I used to have, I’ve either fulfilled or outgrown them. I just want to keep enjoying what’s still there.

Awww, yeah. Buffy fandom's really so scattered now. I see it a bit in fests, but don't seem to run into it in just random posts much anymore. I hope you find some people <3

Ah. I see you’ve written in MCU fandom, though, so you might check my Buffy/Avengers fic, “the Song Remains the Same” (at LiveJournal, Dreamwidth, or AO3).
