Day the 13th at Fort McCoy

We had our initial end-of-course test today right after breakfast, and everyone in my platoon passed. (I made 92%.) We were the only platoon wherein nobody will require retest, and so could proceed without interruption. We spent the rest of the day studying and reviewing the symbols and modifiers used to depict, on a map, the various types of friendly, enemy, neutral, and ‘other’ unit elements. This is a subject sufficiently complex that, for the first time, we were assigned homework. We’ll continue that study tomorrow, and — so far as I know — test on it the day after. Or maybe tomorrow afternoon, the details weren’t clear and I was focusing on the subject material.

Tomorrow is also our five-mile morning run. I am authentically unworried.

As it happens, however, homework requirements don’t leave time for me to formulate an LJ entry more lengthy than this.
