I'm sure that there are some soldiers who passed through Central Station in NYC who are kinda freaked out by the red-head chasing them to say thank you, and then turning around to get to her train...
But yeah, this is true. We need to thank the people over there for being willing to do what they do.
That's a great idea! I don't travel much, so I very rarely see soldiers but I still have a very vivid memory of exchanging waves with a soldier in the last truck of a convey headed towards Ft. Stewart in Oct. of 2001.
