Slight update

One thing I didn’t mention in my post about the proposed trip to Spain, because I hadn’t thought it through enough to realize the whole situation: it isn’t just going to be us and Kevin’s family and the tutor. This will be for as many of her students, and their families, as agree to the trip. In other words, most of the tour will be Chinese. Including my granddaughter and daughter-in-law, if it comes right down to it. For all I know, Kevin and Susan and I will be the only Americans, and may be among the few fluent speakers of English.

You know what? That won’t really change things, we’ll still spend most of our time with the rest of our family. Maybe we’ll make more friends, Susan is good at that; but, regardless, we’ll get what we’re going in for.
