Fandom Snowflake Challenge, Day 6

In your own space, make a list — anything between one and ten things is a sweet spot, but don’t feel constrained by that! — of things that you wish existed in fandom or elsewhere, or that you’d like someone to make for you. Are you dying for podfic of your writing? Do you need icons for a character that doesn’t get much fanart? Is there a story you want to read? Are you looking for new canons to get into? Would you like a collaborator for a project?

Maybe you want more people to talk about a certain fandom with, or you’d love to trade ficlets with somebody over email. Maybe you’re new to a fandom and would like some recs to start reading, or communities to join. This is the time to ask!

Well, okay.

I think every time a wishlist has been proposed, I’ve mentioned my wish to see a story — better yet, a series — of the misadventures in a Harmony/Drusilla team-up. One ditso, one nutso, both with a lot of comedic potential. My own talents nor inclinations incline me in that direction, but I’d love to read something like that.
I even thought, years ago, how fun and interesting a Harmony/Xander teaming might work. Not in a single story, either; my original notion was that this would have made a really entertaining spinoff/follow-up after the end of Buffy-the-series. Hot guy, hot girl, not really interested in each other but with history that allowed them to work together; hero without any powers, heroine(?) with no sense of good but kinda wishing she did … I’d have loved to have seen a series like that, and now that the actors themselves have aged out, I can’t imagine anyone else being able to bring the notion properly to life. Fic, though …?
For that matter, how about an entire site hosting stories about Harmony? or even just showing links to fun Harmony stories? (We may be noticing a trend in my wishes by this point. Don’t worry, I’m nearly done.) I’ve always been intrigued by Harmony; she got sympathetic treatment in my very first Buffyfic — okay, it was one segment of a compound sentence, albeit a long segment, but it was still sympathetic treatment — clear back in 1999, and every appearance she made in BtVS or A:tS was a welcome addition to the story as far as I was concerned. More Harmony!
I used to love the Halo Awards. Years later, after they had gone out of operation, it reached the point where the Sunnydale Memorial Fanfiction Awards had grown to fill most or all of the same area. Now that site, too, seems to have suspended activities, and I miss a good awards section — one devoted to BtVS/A:tS overall rather than any particular characters/kinks niche — and wish there was something to take its place. (Or, if such already exists somewhere, for someone to bring it to my attention.)
I’ll continue the Circle of Friends Remix (cof_remix) for at least one more year, since this year will be its tenth round, but may or may not carry it on after that. I originally started that to supplement RemixRedux — I enjoyed remix events so much I wanted to be able to do it more than once a year — but then RemixRedux seemed to stop going, so my imitation/tribute site became the only thing available for my purposes. And it’s been fun, but I wish there was something else like the event that brought me into remixes in the first place. (If nothing else, the relatively small membership at cof_remix means it’s got to the point of the same people remixing each other repeatedly. Which isn’t bad per se, but does tend to reduce pleasant surprises over time.)
In the A:tS episode “Ground State” (S4-02), Gwen Raiden gave Angel an electric shock that actually restarted his heart. I bolted up out of my chair when I saw that, seeing an event that could kick off an entirely new storyline! … and that was the last I ever saw of it. In fact, except for a glancing mention in a fanfic I read within the past month, I never even saw it mentioned again. Anybody know any stories about further developments in the ‘life’ of The Vampire With a Heartbeat? because that’s a rich vein of possibilities that, so far as I can tell, nobody anywhere has ever explored.
Over the years, I’ve gradually got cover art for almost all my Backstage, Independent, and Queenverse stories (link here), mostly from sroni. However, she’s not seen fit to tackle any of my Otherfandom stories or Drabbles, and anyone who wanted to offer cover art for any of those would certainly receive a warm reception from me.
