Heard the latest?

aadlerKaraoke last night for my youngest brother’s birthday party. I did “Thunder Road”, “Jenny, Jenny” (867-5309), and “Jack and Diane”, all old and proven favorites of mine. He got so wasted that his son had to drive him home. I navigated fine on my own, as I had deliberately limited myself to one drink per hour (and none for the two hours before time to leave).
My daughter-in-law is back from Israel. (Did I mention that her company was sending her on a short trip to Israel?)
My granddaughter is just a few days now from three years old, and is at the 95th percentile in height for her age group. (In America; I haven’t been able to figure out the online calculator for Chinese growth levels.)
I put in a job application for the company where my brother has worked for the last several years. That was followed by what felt like a really good interview, but I haven’t heard anything, so we’ll see.
And — surprise to me — Buffy Forums will be hosting a fanfiction discussion of my story “Walking After Midnight” on August 1st, at this link. I’m not a member of the forum, and I don’t know the etiquette, but my inclination is to observe without attempting to participate. Still, looking forward to seeing what people have to say about something I did eleven years ago.
And I guess that’s it.
