Fandom Snowflake Challenge, Day 15

In your own space, talk about what you’re taking away from this challenge. Did you learn something? Did you interact with new people? Or did you try out different fandoms or formats or relationships? What’s changed between Day 1 and Day 15 of this challenge? Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

Honestly, it hasn’t made much difference this time through. Part of that is because I’ve done it before, so I just didn’t have much call to break new ground in terms of self-discovery or personal revelation. Part of it was that I had other things going on in the background, and just doing the challenges at all was about as much devotion as I could make to the process. So, I didn’t check out the posts of other participants to nearly the extent I did last year or in 2012, didn’t make the same sustained effort to seek out and introduce myself to new people, or to learn new things from those people. Limited commitment, limited return, I fully recognize and admit that.

Had some fun here and there, though. It took a little of my time, but I wouldn’t say that time was wasted.

I feel you. I was SUPER into the challenge for the first week (even staying up waaaaaay past my bedtime to see them as they posted). It's okay to recognize that we do what we can and to take care of ourselves first.
