I was very pleased to be informed that “Dusk Over Pompeii” and “Phantom 309” have been nominated at the wicked_awards. (I suspect velvetwhip.) Several other fine stories/authors have been nominated, so check it out … and add to it if you have any favorites, because the nominating period is still open.

Yup! He got me into fanfic and onto livejournal. And he might be the biggest reason that I don't always consider my stories to be as good as other people think they are; he's encouraged me and told me what I can work on, so it's not that he's done anything to hurt my confidence as a writer or anything like that, but I have literally grown up comparing my writing to his.
