I was very pleased to be informed that “Dusk Over Pompeii” and “Phantom 309” have been nominated at the wicked_awards. (I suspect velvetwhip.) Kind of ironically, Dusk Over Pompeii was one of the stories I was trying to remix for Remix Madness. (I'll finish it because I want your opinion of it, but I wanted to chime in with that here because I am not hopping on the bandwagon, the bandwagon is following me. :P)

Ah, if I knew you two were related, I'd lost track of it. Cool that you're both in the fandom. None of my family is into it.

Yup! He got me into fanfic and onto livejournal. And he might be the biggest reason that I don't always consider my stories to be as good as other people think they are; he's encouraged me and told me what I can work on, so it's not that he's done anything to hurt my confidence as a writer or anything like that, but I have literally grown up comparing my writing to his.
