Second day on the way to China

So, yes, we boarded the Air China flight out of LAX, and took off.
Let me tell you, Business Class is a lot nicer than economy. (If First Class is better yet, I don’t know if I could survive that degree of luxury.) I knew it was an upgrade, of course, but hadn’t been aware of just how much. Electrically-adjustable reclining seats, which would go back far enough to make a full bed configuration. Individual telescreens, with choice of movies, TV shows, e-reader, or trip tracker (and fancy earphones to accommodate it). Individual personal items packet, with lotions and sleep-mask. Pillow and fluffy blankets. Slippers. Pajamas. Wide latitude in meal choice.
Susan and I weren’t seated together. For all I knew, she may have counted that as an extra benefit. I had the first in-flight meal, then settled in to sleep.
And, since we were going west, away from the sun, and China is so far away, we officially crossed into February 6th at some point in flight.
