No Rest for the Wicked Awards posts most recent winners

This morning I got notification that “Echoes from the Battleground” had taken a minor award at Round 8 of the wicked_awards.

As usual, other familiar names can be seen at the list of winners here; in particular (for me), deird1, beer_good_foamy, and jedibuttercup. Congratulations are due to them, and to anyone else a fanfic reader might recognize in the winners’ lists.

Thank you. Honestly, “As Moonlight Unto Sunlight” was also nominated, and I would have preferred to see that one do well. (You gave me some of the most flattering feedback there.) As it is, I’d say runner-up was about the proper level of recognition for “Echoes from the Battleground”; I naturally feel that the story was decently done, but it was not — nor ever intended to be — a major impact.
