Fandom Snowflake Challenge, Day 8
In your own space, talk about a talent (or talents) you have. Everyone's got something they're good at. Leave a comment on this post saying you did it, and include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.

(If you talked about your talent in conjunction with your passion on Day 6, feel free to count that for Day 8 as well.)

I enjoy writing, of course, and believe that I’m fairly good at it, but that’s almost a given for a fanfic writer. (Why would we keep doing it if we believed we had NO talent?)

Outside of fic:

I’m good at sticking with things, advancing by gradual accrual of experience and developed capabilities, and frequently thereby eventually surpassing many with more actual talent than I have; I just keep going (and going and going) until in time I arrive at a pretty good place.

I’m also good at the layout for publications; I enjoy using publication software, and taking other people’s material and turning it into something that looks decent, sounds decent, and functions properly in a larger work.

And, so long as I pick the right songs and keep my voice in practice, I can sometimes turn out a pretty solid karaoke performance.
