Fandom Snowflake Challenge, Day 4
Introduce yourself to someone you admire and friend/follow them on whatever platform you use — journal or Twitter or Tumblr or whatever. Afterwards, leave a comment in this post with the equivalent of “I did it!”

This one brought me up short at first. Generally, in my online life, if someone interests me, I’ve already dropped them a comment.

However …

I’ve been following Mark Watches Buffy since its beginning on December 12, 2011: the author periodically begins watching something — television show, movie, movie series — that he’s never seen before, and posts his reaction/commentary one episode at a time, five days a week. (He has a VERY stringent no-spoilers policy.) Now he’s on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and currently just into the first episodes of Season 2. As a long, long-time aficionado of All Things Buffy, it’s fun and interesting to watch someone’s first reaction, and — with the prompt in this challenge — it made sense to let him know this.
