Within her professional association, Susan submitted a proposal for a paper — in both our names, with the notion that I would help her with the writing — and it was accepted for presentation at a yearly conference. In Amsterdam. This would be nicer if we could afford to make such a trip, but with five months to prepare, maybe we’ll be able to work something out.

In my continuing effort to maintain and extend my understanding of conversational Farsi, I found and downloaded multiple episodes of an Iranian sitcom called Noghtechin. The ones I found have English subtitles, which should help … but is there anybody out there, anybody at all, who can point me to an episodes list of the series so I know which order they should be watched in? The idea of downloading a serial — sitcom, soap opera, anything like that — was to use a continuing storyline to enhance my comprehension. That works better if I’m seeing the episodes in order, but I don’t know how to figure out that part.

I’m running again (treadmill) and doing the other necessary exercises to build up my fitness for the APFT that will no doubt be required of me during the June drill. (The test is also required to qualify me for the military development course for which I’m already registered in July.) That, and other things I had to do, kept me too occupied today to do any writing, but I genuinely intend to start tomorrow. And, who knows, I might manage just a little before I get to bed tonight.

Last of all: during bathroom reading, I saw a snippet from an article, stating that a lot of the pain attributed to fibromyalgia could be settled by adequate intake of Vitamin D. I know Susan isn’t taking any vitamins, so I’ll get some D in a therapeutic dose — no more than is advised for normal health — and see if that helps.

So on for now.
