Back in the swing
May. 6th, 2008 08:34 pmAfter the drama over the weekend, it’s more than a little relaxing to find myself home again. I spent about an hour with Susan last night, before she had to go to work, and a few hours this morning, before I had to leave to take care of various matters of business. Money had to be moved from account to account, I had to make payments to the cable company (to catch up) and Cingular (to get Susan’s phone service reinstituted), then drive to center-state to get some cash to our son. I’ll spend the night, make his final tuition installment payment tomorrow, then drive back home.
With the necessities of the class I was taking, followed by the worry of Susan’s seeming disappearance, I accomplished precisely nothing in fanfic terms during my time in Pennsylvania. I’ll return to the writing routine starting tomorrow. Even so, however, a few fanfic-related things have happened.

I’ll take it and be happy for the recognition, but I’ll have to admit that I wouldn’t have foreseen that one coming out ahead of a number of stories that I liked better.
Second, well after I would have thought people would have moved on to other subjects, “Jasmine Tears (the Pang of Memory Remix)” was cited at

Current plans: watch a DVD, then on to bed.
