Dr. Gregory closes up the lab after confirming (again) that all the cabinets are locked. Satisfied, he turns to leave …

She is there. Breathtaking, enrapturing, and she knows him; her eyes enfold him, her voice a velvet caress. “I need you. I must prepare before I can fully begin, and I need you.”

The pheromones are not overwhelming per se, but are more than sufficient for one who sees no danger, feels no reluctance or uncertainty. Heart swelling with joy, Gregory goes gladly to his death.

A fate he would not knowingly welcome … but it has its own moment of bliss.
