Forty-sixth day in China – August 5 Tuesday

I had trouble getting to sleep — something that happens to me maybe once a year — and consequently was awake till 4:00AM. Once I did drop off, I slept in till 10:30.

Susan likewise hadn’t slept well, and got up as soon as she heard me moving around. It being as late in the day as it was, I went down to McDonald’s to get us a (slightly) early lunch.

Because the rain was more extreme than yesterday, Mei‑li texted to ask if we needed to stay in today as well. Susan and I decided we would do that.

In the evening, Kevin texted to ask if we’d like him to order dinner for us. We agreed to that as well, and said our daily Rosary while we waited; it arrived just after 8:00PM.

Nothing more, just reading and online videos for the rest of the evening.
