Ireland/China 2025, continuing (07)

Seventh day in Ireland – June 17 Tuesday

This was a standard day, pretty much like all those preceding it. Roni showed up shortly after 8:00AM, she and I and Susan went down to breakfast, then back up to the room for the general reading and napping and television. In lieu of lunch, we munched on some snacks, most of which — by now — Roni had brought for us. In the early afternoon, I led another three-person Rosary.

Conal arrived in the general neighborhood of 5:00PM, and we went down for dinner shortly after that. There was some minor discussion of how we would be making our departure tomorrow evening, but much of that had already been explored before. Roni had been getting more and more tired; she doesn’t have the same personal medical issues as her mother, but she does have her own share, and this evening they were stacking up on her. She and Conal left at a time that was earlier than their normal.

Unremarkable relaxing and reading for Susan and me till bedtime.
