Fandom Snowflake Challenge #15

Talk about an unexpected joyous moment you experienced last year. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment here saying you did it.

Well, THAT one is certainly easy enough. It was when my son let me and his mother know, the first week in November, that we could look for another grandchild in July of this year.

The last such happy news was fulfilled almost ten years ago, thus:

Amber Li, born August 1, 2015.

We’ve had much joy as a result of that, and look forward to more yet.

awww. ^_^ congrats to you and your son! the last grandbaby is adorable so i assume the upcoming one will be too.

The two will be enough separated by age that it will be almost like a second “only child”. For my wife and me, it will be like starting all over, while continuing to deal with the first grandchild as she edges toward being a teenager. Eventful, I expect.

The baby in the picture is nearly 10 years old now. We happily look forward to the next installment in the grandparents plan.
