Rage against the machine

Just in the last several days I’ve been trading messages with my VA team. Finally I lost patience and sent them another one: “It takes me a minimum of 10 minutes to navigate the labyrinth of logins before I can check my messages on MyHealtheVet. Unless it’s vital-urgent-confidential, PLEASE don’t send me an email message that I have a message on HealtheVet, JUST SEND ME A MESSAGE.”

I don’t expect it to do any good, people who work for the government have to follow government rules. (Even when the rules are terminally stupid.) But I felt better just saying it.
