Taking on the meme/challenge here.

Fandom Snowflake Challenge #7

In your own space, create a list of at least three things you’d love to receive, something you’ve wanted but were afraid to ask for — a wishlist of sorts. Post your answer to today’s challenge in your own space and leave a comment here saying you did it. Maybe someone will grant a wish. Check out other people’s posts. Maybe YOU will grant a wish.

Truth is, I’ve done this before, and most of what I hoped for is still something I’d like to get.

  1. A Buffy the Vampire Slayer story site devoted to vampHarmony. She’s just fun to read about.

  2. Stories — new, or links to stories already in existence — about Harmony and Drusilla teaming up for off-the-wall hijinks. Something about the whole concept just tickles me.

  3. Drop a note to me if you’re a BtVS fan/author, especially if you’re still operating on LiveJournal, because that’s my main source of interaction these days. I signed on almost 20 years ago, and most of the contacts I made from those days have either left LJ or left BtVS fanfic writing; it would be nice to acquire some replacements, because I miss mixing with like-minded folks.

Hello!

I am still active on LiveJournal. I post at least once a week, sometimes more often.

I am a fan of Buffy and Angel. I haven't done much fanwriting in that canon. However! I do regular prompt calls when readers can ask for whatever they want based on the current theme. Fannish prompts are fine because I can use the results as the freebie. Most often it's Love Is For Children (https://ysabetwordsmith.dreamwidth.org/9744636.html) (The Avengers) but I'm familiar enough with Buffy that I could write it if you feel like dropping by to prompt for it. Next up will be the Creative Jam on January 18-19 with a theme of "Work." The next Poetry Fishbowl will be Tuesday, February 4 but the theme isn't set yet; I'm currently doing the Theme Call (https://ysabetwordsmith.dreamwidth.org/14753834.html).

>>I’ve seen you around, so I know you’re someone to regard with interest.<<

Yay!

>> I’ve added you to my friends list, and I’ll see what comes of it.<<

I have added you back.

>> I’ve never attempted poetry in fanfic, but then I’d never done drabbles till I did one, so there’s no saying.<<

Much of what I write is narrative free verse, although I did short forms in January. I like to look for forms that fit a given setting, so for instance with Asian I like haiku and tanka. Writing poetry doesn't have to be hard, and is well worth a try.
