So, after weeks of denying that he would withdraw from the 2024 presidential race, Joe Biden has announced that he’s withdrawing.

Color me shocked.

I am just a bit surprised, actually. I strongly suspected that he’d be too cognitively unaware to recognize that he was finished and that it was just a matter of arranging the most advantageous exit (and his wife/caretaker/puppetmaster, not to mention the crackhead son, too feverishly determined to hang onto power and too frightened of prosecutions if no longer protected by Biden’s lofty position). These are people who have no discernible history of ever considering anything except what they themselves want, so it was entirely credible that his delusional stubbornness and their desperate urgings would have him hanging in until he was physically carried out.

Either way, Joe Biden is now yet another one-term president.

I’ve heard schadenfreude defined as “an unworthy pleasure in the misfortune of another”. I see nothing unworthy in the satisfaction of seeing such despicable people come to grief as a direct consequence of their own bad actions.

All that’s left now is to watch for exactly how the onrushing freight train will next hit Cackling Kamala.
