Not quite 365 days question meme 24.
Jan. 24th, 2026 12:02 ampattrose24. Have you ever knitted a garment or had one knitted for you?
When I was 16, my aunt taught me to knit and then taught me to make baby booties. I made 4 pairs. They were so cute. I had a wonderful time with my aunt and she was impressed that I learned it so quickly. Now for the funny part, I never knitted another thing. It was nice that day but it wasn't my thing. Two years later she taught me how to crochet blankets. She gave me tons of yarn, and I used it all to make blankets. I found out I didn't care for that either. I'm just not artistic. But my aunt loved the blankets I made for her. And I loved spending time with her. She's also the one who taught me how to play pinochle. Now that was hard. Too many rules.

I wouldn’t have liked flying on that one, but yes I love flying. It’s hard to do being on oxygen. It’s quite a hassle. My dream has always been to fly first class but I’m so cheap that I never will. I keep hoping that hubby will surprise me with it some day. He’s cheap too. Haha.

Not quite 365 days question meme 21
Jan. 20th, 2026 11:38 pmpattrose21. Do you like wearing colourful socks? What do the brightest socks you own look like?
I rarely wear shoes. I own tons of flip flops. That’s what I live in. In December I wore socks three days when it was cooler and raining. But I have at least a dozen short socks in lovely pastel colors. Hubby cracks up that I wear flip flops in the winter. To each his own, right? Sometimes I wish there were three questions to answer.
Is everyone in shock with the show Heated Rivalry doing so well at AO3? The kudos and the comments are unreal. Has anyone read any of them? I have and so far they’re pretty darn good. I’m anxious to hear what others say.
