I must admit the reveal took me by surprise. But on reflection, Anya would be amazing at running an office. There was a certain efficiency to her that was never fully explored in canon but always hinted at. I do enjoy Giles/Anya and this settled, fond yet passionate relationship is quite appealing. Especially after the review of Giles' previous relationships. One thing one would never lack in a relationship with Anya is passion.
