I have one unfortunate habit in fandom which doesn’t seem to be getting any better: with the amount of things I enjoy reading, I’m always looking to move on to the next, with the result that I give very little feedback. If I like a story well enough to save it, and go back and re-read it, and continue doing so every now and then, the author deserves some acknowledgement from me. And yet, I actually deliver that feedback (which I so desire for my own works) far too seldom.
One such was antennapedia’s very entertaining “blindr dot com, or, the importance of coconut-milk lattes to long-term success” (which was brought to my attention when it was recently re-recced, perhaps by
sparrow2000 or perhaps elsewhere). Note: I enjoy this one, and approve of it, even though I despise all-human AUs. That takes some doing.
In fulfilment of this assignment, I went to the story site and left the feedback I owed so long ago. And good to have that out of the way.
