There were a lot of things in Season 7 that looked like foreshadowing (and quite likely were intended as such) but never came to anything. Dawn seeming to acquire her own little Scoobie crew was one … but Kit was only mentioned a couple of times after that episode (but didn’t appear), and Carlos might as well have never existed. I hate to see anything wasted, so I figured I might as well get some use out of the neglected possibilities.
