Elegantly done. Buffy in a prison of her own making and Xander oblivious to the fact that doing everything she asked was the wrong thing to do.
Buffy watching Xander and Cordelia was a special twist of the knife that worked really well. And I really liked Buffy's internal acknowledgement that Xander had learned from Cordelia that intimacy should be kept secret.
