Yes, Susan is the wife. I’ll be maintaining our home for the next few years (and hopefully getting some repairs done); eventually it will either be our retirement domicile, or we’ll sell it to finance a place that suits us even better.
As far as the story goes, I still think there’s something to the don’t post on a national holiday reasoning, especially the last day of a three-(or four-)day weekend. In any event, I can continue to hope it gets some eventual attention.
