In some ways, I think it may be a bit cheap to use unicorns as shorthand for Harmony, since it didn’t actually feature that heavily on the show itself. It’s just so funny, the ditzy vampiress with a thing for unicorns, and it does serve the purpose of identifying her quickly. Always being good for a laugh? that’s a bonus (if maybe a cheap one).
