I’ve dealt with Spike only sparingly in the past, throwing him a line or two here and there; “Oaxaca Nights” gave him a more prominent role, but even that wasn’t done from his POV, so this was something of a challenge. Likewise (as I’ve noted in previous replies), I worried substantially that my presentation of Tara at this juncture might have edged into OOC, but in the end it did seem to me plausible that she would have been capable of such a demonstration by that point in her Scooby-membership.
