The quote came from this article, which actually does not present or espouse liberal views. I cited the passage I did because it (to me) sums up so much that is wrong in today’s society, but the article itself went a lot deeper and provided a substantially original argument against the attitudes in that citation.

I, too, think that bad times are coming. I just don’t know what form they will take.

I know that site and you are correct, they're generally rather conservative. I still say he's correct in his, admittedly, tongue-in-cheek description of liberals.
