Heading for the Far East

Susan and I start our visit to China tomorrow, to spend time with our son and meet his girlfriend and her family. We’ll land in Hong Kong and then cross over to mainland China, and from there on our schedule will develop according to conditions on the ground.

I don’t think LiveJournal is available in China, so I won’t be following anybody on my friends-list. I may be able to make occasional posts by e-mail remote, but more likely I’ll make any travelogue observations after the fact, perhaps in backdated posts once I return.
