I heard from my daughter today. She’s been visiting a friend out in the southwest who just had a baby, and also spending time with her fiancé. She’s planning to be back here (for awhile, at least) by the weekend. And she’s finally done some writing on our joint fanfic, completed the second and part of the third of the six segments that were her share. That gives me hope that we can complete it before too long.

Susan was ecstatic to discover today that she could fit into a size 10. I don’t understand women’s sizes — I frankly think they’re specifically designed to be incomprehensible — but I know it’s another milestone for her.

Tomorrow is the last day in November. After that, the one-month countdown to 2012.
