A pause in the journey

Susan and I are back in the city that used to be our home, but now serves as a home base to which we keep returning before starting other travels. The plan is to stay a couple of weeks while we take care of different items of business, then resume the trip we’d intended before being interrupted by the funeral.

I don’t know if we’ll head to the Gulf Coast as originally charted; that would have been something done on the way to Georgia, which is still where we’re looking to go. With one thing and another, we’ll work it out as we proceed.
