Small sacrifices

A while back, I made an online purchase of fuzzy-lined houseshoes. When they arrived, they suited their intended purpose quite well. It was only later that I found they were perfect for driving the RV: set my feet at just the right angle, don’t put uncomfortable pressure on my ankle, just perfect.

One small problem: I ordered black, but what arrived was purple. Bright purple.

So, yes, I use them for driving. But I keep a pair of moccasins in the front seat with me, so that I can change when I get out for gas or restaurant stops, rather than walk in wearing my pretty purple slippers.
