Counterpoint

I keep seeing (or hearing, if it’s radio) activists blaring “No amount of property is worth a human life!”, to demonize anyone actually acting to protect their property from theft/destruction by criminals.

I have my own take on that: “My life is worth more than my property. Your life is NOT worth more than my property. So don’t f**k with my property, and I won’t f**k with your life.” (And, just to demonstrate my generosity, I’ll not mess with your property, either. See? everybody wins.)
