An indicator of success …

 
To my gratification, the November 10th and 12th su_herald posts (here and here) included four fics from cof_remix in their Short Fiction listings. One of them was my own “In the Air Tonight” (the post I did at Fanfiction.net), and the others were deird1’s “Reactions”, slaymesoftly’s “She Didn’t Really Like High School Anyway”, and evil_little_dog’s “I Spy”. I personally believe the other three stories in this year’s round of the Circle of Friends Remix — the ones by sroni, eilandesq, and kerravonsen — were at least as worthy of acknowledgment, but when su_herald highlights more than half the stories in a single fanfic event, that event can fairly feel that it has been noticed by the fic-reading community.
