The Little That Is New

 
In brief:

• Our daughter is (finally) testing for her GED, one section at a time. She aced the reading, and feels that she near-aced the math, which was what most worried her. Took a long time, but now it’s happening.
• Our son is coming here for Thanksgiving.
• My weight has briefly plateaued, but I’m still six pounds lighter than when I started this latest round. I’ll eat carefully over Thanksgiving, then jump back into it on Monday.
• The no-catbox experiment has flatly failed, so I’m putting the box back tomorrow.
• Out of nowhere, I’ve become suddenly interested in Esperanto. Taking online lessons every day, and thoroughly enjoying the process.
