Retrofic: Independent 01, “Voices in the Dark”, 1/5

 
This was only the fourth Buffyfic I produced, and the first that I wound up slotting into a separate category. The majority of my stories belong in what I call the “Backstage Series”, designed to fit into canon without directly contradicting it. Technically this one isn’t disqualified on that basis, but I still wound up excluding it from my Backstage entries. Below, then, begins the first of my “Independent Stories”: still Buffy, but to be seen more or less as a standalone.
