Beta, anybody?

 
As I noted yesterday, I’d like to have an outside eye look over “Queen’s Gambit” before I start posting it. I’m primarily interested in story critique: voice, theme, pacing, characterization, anything that sparks a suggestion of how it might be done better. (This, is, of course, a Buffyfic.)
