Lovely start. I love the explanation of how the new Council tried cope with the new slayers and the way Leah didn't fit any mold. Funny how you would think a slayer that didn't fit the mold would be right up the Sunnydale crews alley. :)
So glad you did the whole bit with her staking her best friend and Xander's reaction. I always thought they were too cavilier on the subject of Jesse in canon. Xander's response is perfect.
