Some of it depends on where you are in your life at a particular time. Both my kids outgrew it, my daughter to go into different areas and types of fic/entertainment activities, my son to build a family and work on starting his own business. Since I was in my forties when I made my latest dive into these things, it can happen ANY time, but it varies by individual. And, obviously, the appeal just isn’t that strong for some. As long as you’re enjoying your own, that’s probably enough.
