Tired, but not for any good reason.

Four-day drill coming up in a couple of days. Two in the field, two back at home station doing briefings. Fun not anticipated.

Bad news: Susan and I have probably gone over $130,000 deeper into debt. Good news: that’s because it looks like we’ve been approved for a VA housing loan, on a wonderful property a mile or so into the mountains (but directly off a state highway, so not isolated). Good news: seller and realtors and bank are working together to make this happen as quickly as possible, so that it can be finished before I deploy to Iraq. Bad news: that means I’ll have to do a crapload of work (moving) in a very short time, instead of doing a leisurely packing of two duffels and a ruck.

Nobody knows the troubles I’ve seen.
